Larry literally wore many hats during his lifetime from early on helping his father in their drug store in the early 60’s to then taking care of his mother and sister after his father’s untimely death. He initially enrolled in Ole Miss to study Biology and then later graduated from the University of Southern Miss after transferring due to his father’s death.

After graduating from Southern Miss with honors, he began his career in pharmaceuticals before later transitioning to farming. He took on many leadership roles ranging from areas in real estate, respiratory care, to investments.

Through all of his various jobs, his constant was his love for God, family, and his many friends. After taking an early retirement to watch Larry II play football at ULM, he was also a constant at practice by never missing a single one. Maribelle and he also never missed a game during Larry II’s career.

Larry loved hunting, fishing, ULM and Ole Miss football, and his many friends at the Wellness Center especially Barbara and his instructor, Kim.

Larry was truly an inspiration and blessing to anyone that knew him. We all know what he’s doing in his heavenly home..telling stories…with a big smile on his face. We love you and miss you so much.
