The TetraPORT metal
deposition system uses a laser to melt metal powder or wire
to a substrate.
Applications for this additive process include:
• Surface restoration on damaged parts
• Repair or fabrication of components
• Surface coating
• Fabrication of dissimilar materials |

The TetraPORT system can
be configured for heat treating applications. By
rapidly heating the surface of a substrate and then
allowing it to cool, the hardness of the area is
changed.
