These parts show the tab and slotting feature that can be attained with our laser tube cutters. These parts were for a customer that had intended to insert a small tube into a larger tube (see photo # 3); a special fixture would be made to hold the small tube in place for welding.

Alabama Laser recommended tabbing the hole on the larger tube and slotting the smaller tube to enable height adjustment without the use of an expensive welding fixture. Making parts like this would be difficult and require multiple operations using conventional machinery.

With the Adige laser tube cutters, it is simply a matter of programming the desired design and then letting the tube cutter make the parts quickly and efficiently.
