The Rondcom 54SD is designed for measuring roundness of outside diameters and inside diameters with resolution of 0.002 microns (0.000002mm). It can also calculate runout, concentricity, coaxiality, squarenes of axis to a plane, as well as other less common calculations. This particular machine can accommodate work pieces up to 254 millimeters in diameter by 280 millimeters tall with a maximum mass of 80 pounds.



The Contourecord 1700 SD is designed for measuring contours with resolution of 0.1 micron (0.0001mm). This machine is capable of taking one data point for each micron of linear travel. It checks profiles such as lines, slots, circles, angles, etc. It calculates line straightness, circularity, and coordinate differences in the ‘X’ and ‘Y’ axes. This machine can accommodate work pieces 254 millimeters long by 400millimeters tall with a maximum of 80 pounds, but has a single scan length of 4 inches in the ‘X’ axis, a single scan maximum of 50mm stylus movement in the ‘Z’ axis.
