Rob Aubert passed away July 4, 2010, from cancer.
He had retired from WWL Radio in New Orleans.
He and his wife, Vera, were living on Harrison Circle in Gulfport. Rob requested no visitation or funeral service. He donated his body to science. The Class of '61 made a $100.00 donation to the American Cancer Society in his name.

January 3, 1944 – July 4, 2010

Robert L. Aubert III, age 66, of Gulfport, died Sunday, July 4, 2010 in Gulfport. He was a lifelong resident of Gulfport and a graduate of Gulfport High School and attended Mississippi State University.

He previously served in the U. S. Navy on the USS Saratoga as communication officer and retired from WWL Radio in New Orleans. He was Methodist.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Robert L. Aubert, Jr. and Mary Sands Aubert.

Mr. Aubert is survived by his wife, Vera Coleman Aubert of Gulfport; and a daughter, Erin Elizabeth Aubert of New Orleans.

There will be a private memorial service at a later date.
