Charlotte McMurtray Moore
November 5, 1943 to June 15, 2007
Charlotte McMurtray Moore, 63, of Gulfport, died June 15, 2007 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Moore lived most of her life on the coast and was a member of First
Baptist Church, Gulfport. She was a graduate of USM with a Bachelors
Degree in Elementary Education and retired from Saucier Elementary. She
also worked for the Department of Human Resources in the Child Protective
Services Division. Mrs. Moore enjoyed playing bridge and her Sunday school
class.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Sarah McMurtray, an
infant son, Michael Earl Moore, and an aunt, Mary Gardner.
Survivors include her sister, Susan (Randy) McDonel, Biloxi, and John
(Lynda) McMurtray, Jr., Knoxville, TN, nieces and nephews, Danny (Trish)
McMurtray and their daughter, Molly, Sarah Paige (Mark) McDonnell, and John
Gardner, and other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2007 at the RIEMANN
FAMILY’S Gulf Coast Funeral Home, Three Rivers Road Chapel. Friends may
visit from 10 – 11 a.m.
Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
