I am currently working
full-time as an RN at South Miami Hospital, Addiction Treatment Program. I
am anticipating soon cutting back my hours to half time. I have considered
retiring; however, with the economy as bad as it is, it is hard to let go of
a good job, especially one that I enjoy. My husband, Ed Keith is a
professor of Marine Mammals and Biochemistry at Nova Southeastern
University, and between research and conferences, he travels a lot. Ed is
presently in Ecuador at a Biodiversity Conference. My son John Purner
is 41and owns Complete Custom Wheel in Daytona, FL. If anyone has a
Corvette or Viper they probably know of or have my son's wheels. Obviously,
his mother is proud. :-) My son has blessed me with a wonderful
daughter-in-law, Lisa and a 13 yr. old grandson, J.C., who enjoys Boy
Scouts, Robotics and Karate.

Having a more flexible work schedule now allows me to travel more with him,
which I am really enjoying. I attended Gulfport schools from East Ward 1st
grade thru Gulfport Hi 11th grade. We moved in my senior yr to Knoxville,
TN, where I grad. high school. For this reason, you will not find my picture
in the 61 yr. book; however, I would appreciate being included in the list
of members of the class of 61, as this is where my heart and history is.
