Retired after 32 years with Mississippi Power Company.

After I retired and rearranged her kitchen, my wife sat me down for a chat. She told me she had handled the house for 32 years without my help and she didn't need it now. So, she gave me one month to find me something to do or she would do it for me. i found something myself, as my sweet wife's idea of something, I'm sure, included a shovel, pitchfork and several horse stalls.

Since that eye opening day I've done consulting, sales training, and now work at the navy exchange in Gulfport as retail electronics supervisor.

My wife had to have surgery in may for breast cancer. She had a radical on one and she’s clear. She's my hero and a survivor.

I lost both my parents in 2007. We're hanging in there.

In the past year, Barbara and I lost our Daughter in Law last December 21 and it really crushed us both. Since then our son has had some hard times but is pulling through. He has met a friend and seems happy.

Barbara was in the hospital in June. I woke up one night and she could not get from the bathroom to the bed and was extremely weak. I couldn't find a pulse and took her immediately to the hospital. She was dehydrated, and she was anemic due to bleeding ulcers from her arthritis medicine. She is o.k. now but is in pain management and physical therapy for her neck, jaws and shoulders which was why she was taking the Celebrex.

I'm still teaching sales/negotiating/sales management/presentation skills under contract with a company out of Roswell GA called Saled Concepts Inc.

My dad is in the latter stages of Alzheimer's and my wife, my sister and I take care of him and my mother. They live in Long Beach, and we take care of my my mother in law, who lives in Pass Christian.

My wife Barbara is into wire jewelry, she's is very good at it, and I do glass etching and engraving as a hobby along with my oil painting.
