Dorothy Dianne Rhodes Shelton
July 31, 1942 to August 3, 1972

Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Dianne Shelton, 30, who died Saturday, will be held 3:30 p.m. today at Riemann Funeral Home Chapel in Long Beach.

Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Park in Long Beach.

Mrs. Shelton, a resident of 4009 Ponderosa Dr., Gulfport, died at 4:05 p.m. at Gulfport Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient for two days.

She was born July 31, 1942, in Port Arthur, Tex., and resided in Petal prior to moving to Gulfport four years ago.  A graduate of Gulfport High School and Perkinston Junior College, she was employed as a medical assistant at the Byrne-Steward Clinic.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Long Beach.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Shelton, Gulfport; two sons, Robert Louis and Kenneth Wayne Shelton, both of Gulfport; her mother, Mrs. Helen Fabian, Oklahoma City, Okla.; her adopted parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Rhodes, Long Beach; and two brothers, Bobby Ladner and Kenneth Ladner, both of Kansas City, Kan.
