Charles Tinsley
May 29, 1943 to December 15, 1993

Charles Richard Tinsley, 50, of Gulfport died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 1993, in New Orleans.

Mr. Tinsley was a native of Gulfport and the owner of Tinsley Plumbing Co.  He was a member of the U. S. M. Alumni Association and a member of Mississippi City United Methodist Church in Gulfport.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Byrd Tinsley, and a brother, Robert Tinsley.

Survivors include three sons, Gary Tinsley of Foley, Ala., Terry Tinsley of Clinton, Md., and Brian Tinsley of Pensacola, Fla.; his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Savarese of Gulfport; two sisters, Pam Davis of Opelika, Ala., and Janice Goodwin of Gulfport; and two grandchildren.

A service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Riemann Funeral Home Chapel in Gulfport, where friends may call an hour before service time.  Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.

The family prefers memorials to the Mississippi City United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
