I worked 25 years with a local insurance agency. Then Jerry and I went to Tallahassee, FL
for 5 years. There I worked for the State Insurance Dept as an insurance analyst. I truly
enjoyed the regulation side of the industry. Jerry and I are now in Pass Christian living
on the water just off the Bay of St. Louis and eating plenty of seafood!
I enjoy keeping my grandchildren: Austin, Ashley, and Nikolas. Our three sons each married
women who fit them to a tee! Our oldest, Doug, is married to Pam. They are the parents of
Austin and Ashley and live in Hattiesburg. Doug is a physical therapist and Pam is in
finance. Our middle son, Mark, is married to Beth and they are in Starkville. Mark is a
fisheries biologist and Beth is an aquaculturist. Our youngest, Kevin, is married to
Wendy. They are the parents of Nikolas and live in Gulfport. They both teach at Bayou
Middle School. Kevin teaches art and Wendy teaches science.
It is such fun having all of our children and grandchildren visit at the same time. Now
that they are older, I have found that they really do love each other! (When they were
growing up, I had my doubts! Raising three boys was sometimes like a 3 ring circus!)
Jerry and I have truly been blessed. |
