Linda Rhodes On 8/11/06 Linda writes: As with so many others, Hurricane Katrina brought about many changes in my life. My mother's home in Gulfport was severely damaged; our Bay St. Louis home took on 52" of storm surge, and my house in New Orleans stood in 18" of flood waters for several weeks. I am now living in Dallas, where friends and family are located. The past year has shown that the value of relationships far transcends any physical losses or inconveniences one could imagine, and as I find the way into a new community and church affiliations, I am so grateful for what remains of the past as a foundation for the future. I do not know if my schedule will allow attendance at the 2006 reunion; whether or not that occurs, thoughts of classmates and former teachers will be very much with me at that time and always.
