Model IP6000 Injection & Sampling System is a fixed-length, flange-mounted unit commonly used in field and plant applications. The unit is ideally suited for use in high pressure and/or hazardous applications where threaded fittings are not available or not recommended. Process shutdown or process isolation is required for installation and inspection. The unit assembly consists of a flange and an insertion rod with an injection/sampling tip. The injection tip, which is threaded, welded, or machined to the end of the rod, can be either a quill, open, cap & core, or nozzle assembly type. Insertion length (I.L.) is calculated to the end of the rod and, in this case, is based on a 1" total flange thickness. Customers can specify any length required. For standard injection systems, the maximum insertion length is given in the chart below. Several standard injection tips and flanges are available to meet your specific needs. Model IP6000 units are available in different lengths and materials.
